So you've heard of the Crafty Case but you don't know what it is? You want to know why everyone is talking about it... well here we go.
The Crafty Case was born out of the fact that it is hard, no it's really hard, to entertain little ones when you are out and about. Not only that but screen time is on the increase, and for little ones that can get over stimulated easily screens can add to behaviour issues.
As a parent myself, I was so fed up having to take a full bag of toys or games around with me to restaurants for them to only entertain my little ones for a few seconds each. Don't get me wrong some children can play with certain toys for ages, but with my boys, that wasn't the case.
There are loads of things out there that "claim" to entertain kids but they also felt like they had no purpose to them. That's where I created the Crafty Case. There are loads of great ideas on Instagram, but there was nothing ready to purchase and what parent has endless time to constantly be thinking about games and toys for their child... it's just another thing on the list.
The Crafty Case has 16 games all designed to entertain and engage your little one... but wait for it... but they are also reviewed by Early Years Professionals to ensure that they are developing little ones fine motor skills. That's the real difference here.
I created Play Cards that have game suggestions for parents, and also tell them with our handy icons what skills the Cases will develop. Communication and Language is one of the main skills that your child is developing up to 5 years and so every case aims at introducing different language, words, cause and effect and develop different areas of capabilities whether it's pre mathematics, science or colours.
The individual inserts are a handy size to pop in to a nappy bag, the case itself not only fits in cabin luggage for airplanes but also in the underneath of a pram. It's light, so light my 2 year old can carry it.
The case has even been picked up by local nurseries and has been started to be used as part of the school readiness programme to let children transition to school.
On the fence? I get it, to an adult sometimes these cases don't look like much, but to a child they have the capability and the freedom to explore these cases. The creativity and imagination to see things differently from adults. Take the magnet game - it isn't just about magnets and staples, but seeing the cause and effect that it has. Imagine never seeing a magnet before and then trying to work out what in your surroundings this magic little pen will stick too.
The Crafty Case is your go to for little ones entertainment - that's why we call it Screen Free Fun on the Go, For Little Minds that Grow.
